Arsenal News: Pundit Asks Emery To Make A Sensible Change Before Cardiff Match

Unai Emery replaced Arsene Wenger earlier this summer after the Frenchman’s exit from Arsenal following an illustrious reign of twenty-two years. Under their new manager, the Gunners lost against Manchester City and Chelsea in their first two league fixtures but secured all three points against West Ham United last weekend.

However, a lot of loopholes seem to exist in Emery’s game plan, which is expected to get rectified once the team adjusts with the Spaniard’s tactical nous. Interestingly, Emery’s inclination of operating with a lone striker in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been a subject of debate ever since the start of the new season.

The former Paris Saint-Germain manager has gone with a 4-2-3-1 formation so far but the north London based outfit have performed better with Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in the attacking sector. Sky Sports pundit Harry Redknapp also believes that Emery should mix up his team a little bit to derive better results.

In a recent interview, Redknapp said: “I do think a subtle change might help and I think if they had done that against West Ham, again it’s not a system he wants to play, but Aubameyang and Lacazette look good together. The look like a really good pair, they look dangerous and they look like two players you wouldn’t want to play against.”
