Manchester United To Secure Mammoth Deal For Spanish Star

In what will come as an excellent piece of news for Manchester United fans, according to Sun, the club is in the final stages of thrashing out a mammoth new deal with David de Gea.

The Spaniard is poised to sign a new five-year Manchester United deal worth £350,000 a week!

He will become United’s second highest ever earner in history – behind Alexis Sanchez who is on £505,000 a week

The player has been subject to a number of transfer sagas involving Manchester United and Real Madrid and unsurprisingly, the Spanish giants are expected to come calling for him once again. And this, in addition to the uncertainty that the World Cup brings, has played a factor in United getting their act together and finally agreeing to pay the superstar what his talent and performances deserve.

He has single-handedly saved numerous points and is one of the most important reasons that United have not lost their way in terms of results in their ongoing transitional phase.

If indeed, Ed Woodward can wrap this up before the World Cup commences, Jose and the entire club can breathe a sigh of relief and focus on the rest of the squad which needs quite a bit of patching up, to Jose’s liking.

This team, according to Challenges more magazine.
