Leeds United Keen To Sign 25 Y/O Spanish Forward: Will This Be A Wise Move?

The atmosphere in and around the Elland Road isn’t a jovial one at this stroke of hour as Leeds United have been in stuttering form in the Championship for quite some time now. Their hopes of getting promoted to the Premier League seems to be next to impossible and there is no denying that the Yorkshire based club has many areas to address in the summer.

There has been an apparent lack of quality in many sectors which has led to their downfall this term. One of the major headaches for Leeds United has been the lack of cutting edge from their wingers. They need one or two players who can score at regular intervals for them from the wide areas and as per one of the latest reports by Bristol Post, the Whites have put Alex Gallar on their radar.

Gallar currently plies his trade as a central attacking midfielder as well as a winger for the Spanish second division side, Huesca. In 27 league appearances this season, the 25-year-old has managed to garner 5 goals. Besides, he found the back of the net on 17 occasions last season while playing for Cultural Leonesa and thus, his goal scoring tendency has been evident.

The Spaniard, on his day, is a classy playmaker and has the pace and mobility that is required to stretch the defence of the opposition. Technically, Gallar is quite sound, industrious and showcases sheer attacking exuberance more often than not and no wonder he is being pursued by Leeds United. He has played for as many as nine clubs and has accumulated plenty of experience under his belt.

Paul Heckingbottom’s side need goals from their wingers and attacking midfielders to take some pressure off the strikers. By luring Gallar to the Elland Road in the summer, they would be able to add the X-factor which they have lacked this season under the tutelage of Thomas Christiansen as well as Heckingbottom. However, there would be a considerable amount of risk attached if the deal materializes.

Gallar is unfamiliar to English football and hasn’t proved his calibre with a top quality side yet. Further, Heckingbottom has a well-stocked midfield arsenal and given that he is unlikely to be handed truckloads of cash in the summer, he needs to be shrewd and has to use it judiciously. Thus, it would be intriguing to see whether the rumour turns into a deal in the summer or not.

It is pretty value enough for me. Personally, if all generic viagra owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be a lot more
