Predicted 4-4-2 Brighton & Hove Albion Lineup Vs Everton: Schelotto Fit To Play

Brighton & Hove Albion made it three wins on the trot after their victory against Arsenal at the Falmer Stadium. The win took their unbeaten run to five matches that helped them climb the table to 10th and away from the dreaded relegation zone.

Chris Hughton will be hoping that their amazing run continues against an Everton side who are low on confidence. He will be boosted by the fitness of his right-back Ezequiel Schelotto after he was forced off the field following a horrific clash with Kolasinac. However, the medical department have cleared him to take part in their game against Everton.

Brighton – Team News

Steve Sidwell and Chelsea loanee Izzy Brown will be two players in the treatment room for Brighton as Chris Hughton will have his regular players all in contention for the trip to Merseyside.

Brighton Lineup

Defence

Mathew Ryan, who has been good form, will be the man between the sticks for Brighton. He will be shielded by the centre-back pairing of Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk who have been exceptional for the Seagulls. They could be flanked by Gaëtan Bong and Ezequiel Schelotto on the left and right-back positions respectively.

Midfield

The two centre midfield roles could be taken up by Dale Stephens and Dutchman Davy Pröpper both who have played all 29 games in the league this campaign for Albion, with Pröpper missing just 14 minutes out of the total 2610.

The two agile wingers in Anthony Knockaert and José Izquierdo will be expected to inject pace and trickery to cause problems to the Everton defence. French winger Knockaert will look to score again as he did in the reverse fixture back in October.

Attack

Glenn Murray will be expected to lead the attack for Brighton and will be supported by German Pascal Groß. Groß has been sensational this term for Chris Hughton. Allowed to play a free role for the side, he has 5 goals to go with his 8 assists. Albion fans will hope that he can spin his magic yet again on Saturday.

Glenn Murray has been a surprise package for Brighton and has notched up 11 goals in the campaign. He now has 5 goals in this calendar year, a record only bettered by Aguero and Salah. Will he find the back of the net once again and help Brighton to another three points?
