Southampton Vs Tottenham Hotspur Preview: Team News, Predicted Lineups And Odds

Tottenham Hotspur have found some consistency, midway through the season as they have now won five of their last six league games. They are back in action this weekend when they face a tricky trip to St Mary’s on Sunday.

The Saints are one of the many teams struggling at the bottom of the points table. They are currently 18th in the table, two points off safety and will look to take something from this game to start their climb out of the drop zone.

They are fresh from a 2-2 draw against Watford and have not won a game since the end of November. They lost the reverse fixture 5-2 at Wembley on Boxing Day but playing at home, they will look to take something from this game and give Spurs a tough fight.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are just 3 points off the 4th place in the points table. But they are behind the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool in that order and cannot afford to drop any points at the moment.

Harry Kane has been in devastating form this season for Spurs and will be the danger man in this game as well.

As for the Saints, they face teams around them at the bottom of the points table after this game and will see any point from this game as a bonus. They have decent quality in their squad and could certainly test the London outfit. Here is the preview of this game along with team news, expected lineups, predictions and odds.
