Chelsea starlet attacks the club’s philosophy and could be reprimanded by the Blues

Chelsea have become notorious for not blooding youth in the team and it’s a well-known fact that their loan policy is more of trying to keep the players happy. Quite a few Chelsea loanees have eventually gone on to leave – Patrick van Aanholt, Nathan Ake and Dominic Solanke being a few.

The latest player who has made his feelings known is Charly Musonda who wrote on his Instagram page, “You sacrifice, you work hard, harder, you give more than what’s expected, and often more than you can, because you love what you do and clearly more than you should.

“And what do you get back? ‘Literally nothing,… done. However, with this being said I will continue with same dedication and commitment to this great game.”

Reports reveal that the club could punish the Belgian and have asked him to ‘do his talking on the pitch.’

Changing landscape under Conte?

While the previous managers have afforded literally no game time to the younger players, Antonio Conte has managed to get the best out of the so-called fringe players. The likes of Victor Moses, last season, and young Andreas Christensen have had an extended run in the first team which means more chances might be around the corner for some of the academy lads.

However, the departure of the talented Nathaniel Chalobah, after spending nearly a seven seasons out on loan, to Watford makes many think if the younger players will see consistent game time.
