Manchester United are the latest addition to the list of potential suitors, who are gnawing and clawing their way to acquire the service of Tottenham Hotspurs’ left back, Danny Rose.

The English International set ripples in the transfer market when he publicly admitted last week that certain players “might fancy a change” and the club might face difficulty in retaining them.

Apparently, all the furore and disgruntlement is reportedly due to the pedantic wage structure set by the Club Chairman, Daniel Levy.

Nonetheless, with the Spurs left back contemplating to make a move away from White Hart Lane, it should come as no surprise that “The Special One” will be interested in acquiring his services.

Being frustrated and discontent with the service of  Luke Shaw on the left flank all throughout the season with form, fitness and injury issues, the Portuguese has ended up lambasting the full back many a time in public forums; which makes this transfer look more likely than ever.

Cash or Player?

As per latest reports, it is assumed that Spurs are not interested in cash settlement and apparently might look for a player exchange with Red Devils’ outcast Luke Shaw being the “Person of Interest”.

Although with the 26-year-old having more than 4 years left on his contract could be valued at in or around £25m, Pochettino is said to want the player rather than the cash.

Manchester United has been frustrated for quite some time now as the once acclaimed sensational signing, Luke Shaw, has fallen much, much short of his expectations.

Being riddled with injuries and fitness issues, the £30m man has warmed the bench on most occasions falling behind Blind, Rojo and Darmian in the pecking order.

Although having many other alternatives in the squad, the inclusion of a strong suitable option like Rose would not be of any harm as Blind and Darmian are not predominant left backs and have fallen prey on many occasions against raging winger and full backs.

Safe to say that Rose would be a good investment as United would need strength and quality next season and the addition of Rose would be a stepping stone in that direction only.

Being absent on the pitch on most occasions and invisible at times of dire need due to his fitness problems has made him fall out of favour from the Portuguese and seeing the quality and consistency United would be getting from Rose it just might be an investment that could be a game-changer for the Red Devils.
