Hull City are facing a torrid time with their manager Marco Silva already having resigned from the club and many key players opting to leave the KCOM stadium this summer. The latest of the figures slated to leave the relegated club seems to be Kamil Grosicki with interests arising from newly promoted side Newcastle United.
Rafa Benitez is apparently looking to make an impact with the Magpies next season and his transfer activities all point towards that direction only.
The Polish midfielder joined the Tigers during the January transfer window of 2017 and it comes as a shock to the KCOM faithful that only after 6 months, the winger is already contemplating a move away from the club.
The 28-year old has had somewhat of a fruitful season under Marco Silva and is apparently on the radar of many clubs. Although the player is tied to the Tigers till 2020, the Polish International might try to force a move away from the club to resist playing in the Championship.
Seems like he has a lot of areas to improve upon! (WhoScored)
The player is yet to prove himself on the Premier League and get properly accustomed to the atmosphere and demands of the game over here in England.
Although having potential and ability to do better and contribute up front, it would still be a risky investment for the Magpies.
Newcastle seems to be dead serious in their preparation towards their squad build up next season and it would make little sense to see Grosicki at the St. James Park with the Magpies having players with similar or better pedigree.
With Rafa vying to bring top talents at St. James Park, the addition of the Polish international would no doubt come as a shock. Having spent only 6 months in the English top tier and still having lots to prove it would not be a “Rafa” type of move as the Spaniard hardly goes for inexperienced and unproven talents in the transfer market.
Making an investment on the Hull man would be not worth the money at all.
An interesting transfer certainly if it does happen this summer.
