Two new signings to start, Predicted Aston Villa Lineup vs Tottenham

aston villa lineup

Aston Villa will lock horns with a wounded Tottenham Hotspur side this Sunday in the FA Cup 4th Round.

The Villans would look to inflict further misery on Spurs, who suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool in the second leg of the EFL Cup semi-finals last night, exiting the tournament on an aggregate score (4-1).

Speaking about Aston Villa’s form, they haven’t been at their best of late after going winless in their last three Premier League games, including the 2-0 defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers last week.

Nonetheless, After securing an automatic qualification to the Champions League round of 16, the Lions are now hoping to replicate a similar success in the FA Cup and try to progress further in the tournament.

Having established themselves as one of the strongest sides in the Premier League in the last few seasons, Unai Emery’s side are now in the quest to win trophies to grow further in stature.

While the previous meeting between the two sides ended on a sour note for the Villans, who suffered a 4-1 defeat, they will be looking to settle the score against the Lilywhites this time around.

Team News

While Tyrone Mings is ruled out with an injury, both Matty Cash and Ollie Watkins are doubtful due to fitness concerns.

However, all eyes will be on Aston Villa’s new January signings, Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio, who could be in line to make their debuts.
