Leeds United will look to continue their impressive run in the Championship when they welcome West Bromwich Albion to Elland Road on Saturday.
The Whites produced a dominant 3-1 comeback win against Sheffield United earlier this week, extending their stellar winning streak to five games. Goals from Junior Firpo, Ao Tanaka and Joel Piroe helped undo the Blades.
Moreover, Leeds have won with aplomb during this run, scoring 18 goals while conceding just two.
Sitting five points clear at the top of the table, the Whites have maintained their ascendancy in the Championship and will look to further assert their influence against West Brom.
While title rivals Sheffield United are seemingly starting to falter after their recent defeat, Leeds will be eager to collect another three points against the Baggies and widen the gap at the summit.
Meanwhile, fifth-placed West Brom will attempt what many have failed to do this season—halt Leeds’ brilliant run of form. However, the Baggies’ build-up to the game has been far from impressive, managing only two wins in their last five outings. They will, however, look to build on their 2-0 win over Oxford United in the FA Cup last week.
