Eden Hazard To Start: 4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup vs Huesca

real madrid team

Real Madrid host newly-promoted Huesca in La Liga on Saturday at Santiago Bernabeu and the defending champions will hope to shrug off the disappointment of their poor mid-week performance. The La Liga giants could only draw against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League, as two late goals saved them blushes and helped salvage a point from the game.

Madrid are second in the La Liga table, a point behind leaders Real Sociedad, but Zinedine Zidane’s team have a game in hand over Sociedad. Zidane’s side won a key game against Barcelona last weekend and they will hope to keep that momentum going in the league.

Let’s take a look at the possible Real Madrid team for the game against Huesca:

Team News

Several first-team players of Real Madrid will miss Saturday’s game. Dani Carvajal and Mariano Diaz will miss the proceedings. Defenders Alvaro Odriozola, Nacho and midfielder Martin Odegaard are also doubts after having missed the last couple of weeks through injury.

Goalkeeper

Thibaut Courtois should continue in goal in the Real Madrid team against Huesca.

Defence

Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane should play as the two central defenders in today’s game. Ferland Mendy has started Madrid’s last two games, but he could be rested for veteran left-back Marcelo.

If Nacho or  Odriozola are fit, they should start in the right-back position in the Real Madrid team. If neither are fit, Lucas Vázquez should continue in the full-back position for Madrid, as he did in the Champions League this past week.

Midfield

Casemiro should start this game and he could be given a run out for 60 odd minutes. Madrid face Inter Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday and with how precariously they are placed, Zidane will want his key players to be fresh for that game.

Luka Modric could start in place of Toni Kroos while Federico Valverde should retain his place in the middle of the park. Isco is also an option for Zidane for this weekend’s game.

Attack

Eden Hazard could get his first start of the season on Saturday off the left, with Rodrygo playing on the opposite side in the Real Madrid team. Karim Benzema should start up front. Luka Jovic and Marco Asensio are other options for Zidane in attack.
