4 Possible Changes: 4-2-3-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup vs Everton

west ham united lineup

Since David Moyes’ appointment as West Ham United manager, the Hammers have won two of their last three games in all competitions. The London side are in a relegation battle, currently just a single point above the drop zone. They welcome an inconsistent Everton side to the London Stadium on Saturday and Moyes will hope to get one over his former employers.

The Hammers will need to get a few wins to climb up the table and to safety. The last time these two sides faced each other was back in October when Everton ran away 2-0 winners at Goodison Park.

Let’s take a look at the predicted West Ham United lineup for the game against Everton.

Team News

David Moyes has several injury concerns as the likes of Arthur Masuaku, Ryan Fredericks, Michail Antonio, Andriy Yarmolenko, Lukasz Fabianski and Jack Wilshere are all set to miss the game against Everton.

Moyes revealed that there’s a 50-50 chance that Felipe Anderson could make it for the game.

PREDICTED WEST HAM UNITED LINEUP vs EVERTON (4-2-3-1)

Goalkeeper

West Ham United re-signed Darren Randolph and he could go straight into the starting XI for the game against Everton with Moyes unimpressed with the other two options at his disposal.

Defence

Moyes played a three-man defence last time around against Sheffield United but he could revert to a four-man backline against Everton.

Angelo Ogbonna should start in defence, while Issa Diop could come into the West Ham United lineup in place of Fabián Balbuena.

Arthur Masuaku is a big doubt while Ryan Fredericks is out for this game. This means that Pablo Zabaleta and Aaron Cresswell should start at right-back and left-back respectively if Moyes decides to go with a traditional backline.

Midfield

Declan Rice should start at the base of midfield for the Hammers, with captain Mark Noble accompanying him in a slightly more expansive role.

Manuel Lanzini had a decent game last time around against Sheffield United, and he should start a little ahead of Noble, in the No. 10 role.

Attack

Injuries to Michail Antonio, Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson means that Moyes does not have too many options out wide. If Anderson is fit, he will start on the left side of the attack but we expect Pablo Fornals to play on the left in the West Ham United lineup.

Robert Snodgrass should start on the right side of attack, while Sébastien Haller is expected to lead the line.
