Key Change In Midfield | 4-3-3 Predicted Real Madrid Lineup vs PSG

real madrid lineup

Real Madrid won over the weekend against Real Sociedad in the league to keep hot on the heels of Barcelona in La Liga. Zinedine Zidane’s side are second in Group A of the Champions League, three points behind their opponents for Tuesday night, PSG.

Madrid need a point to secure qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League as they are 5 points ahead of Club Brugge, who are third in the group.

The last time PSG and Madrid faced off, the French side got the better of their Spanish opponents, winning the game 3-0 at home, so Los Blancos will look to right the wrongs.

Early Team News:

Zidane has several players missing for the game against PSG. The likes of James Rodriguez, Marco Asensio, and Nacho are expected to miss Tuesday’s important game. Lucas Vazquez is the latest injury casualty who is set to miss out a few games.

Let’s take a look at the team that Zinedine Zidane may put out for Tuesday:

Predicted Real Madrid Lineup vs PSG

Goalkeeper

Thibaut Courtois should start in goal for Madrid for Tuesday’s fixture.

Defence

We could see Zidane stick to the centre-back partnership of Sergio Ramos and Raphaël Varane for this key game, while Dani Carvajal should also retain his place in the Real Madrid lineup.

The Real Madrid manager may also keep Ferland Mendy at the left-back position, despite Marcelo being rested for the weekend’s game.

Mendy has been in good form for the Spanish team over the last few games and could be rewarded with a start.

Midfield

Luka Modric was in great form against Real Sociedad, playing a part in all three goals that Madrid scored on Saturday. The Croatian scored once and made the other two goals for his team. He should retain his place in the team, while Casemiro could also start.

Toni Kroos did not start the La Liga game last weekend and was brought on in the second half to replace Federico Valverde.

Valverde scored one of the three goals, and it’ll be interesting to see if Zidane brings back the experienced German midfielder.

Attack

The front three is going to be the same as on Saturday – the trio of Karim Benzema, Rodrygo, and Eden Hazard should complete the Real Madrid lineup.
