Praet To Start, Perez Drops Out | Predicted 4-3-3 Leicester City Lineup vs Southampton

Leicester City will square off against Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday, and they could possibly go up to second if results go in their favour.

The Foxes continued their good form in the Premier League, and came from behind to beat Burnley last Saturday. Brendan Rodgers’ side are third in the Premier League table and two points behind Manchester City.

Their opponents, meanwhile, haven’t won any of their last four Premier League games, losing three of the four games. Southampton are 17th in the league, having won just 2 of their last 9 games in the league.

Let’s take a look at the possible Leicester City lineup for Saturday:

Predicted Leicester City Lineup vs Southampton

Goalkeeper

Kasper Schmeichel has been part of the Leicester City team that has conceded just 8 goals in 9 games in the league this season. He will start in goal once again for Leicester on Saturday against Southampton.

Defence

Caglar Söyüncü and Jonny Evans have been a revelation at the back for Leicester City this season and will continue in defence against the Saints.

Neither was to blame for the goal that Burnley scored last time around, but they will have to be on their guard in a tricky game against Southampton.

Ricardo Pereira once again had a very good game for Leicester against Burnley, and he will continue at right-back for the Foxes, while Ben Chilwell will start on the opposite side.

Midfield

James Maddison was passed fit for the game against Burnley and played a little over 70 minutes in the game before being replaced by Dennis Praet.

The Englishman could move to the left for the game against Southampton, with Praet coming into the midfield position. Praet could play ahead of the dependable Wilfried Ndidi in midfield.

Youri Tielemans scored the decisive goal against Burnley in the 74th minute. He will play alongside Praet in central midfield.

Attack

Harvey Barnes had a promising game against Burnley, and he could move to the right, in place of Ayoze Perez, with Maddison taking up Barnes’ spot on the left side of midfield. Jamie Vardy scored Leicester’s first goal against Burnley, and he will start up top for the Foxes.
