Matchweek 3 of the 2019-20 Premier League season saw seven teams posting wins away from home, while Liverpool defeated Arsenal to remain the only team not to have dropped points after the opening three games of the season.

We saw 30 goals scored in the 10 matches that were played and a few exciting performances by a number of attackers.

Let’s take a look at top 3 attackers of Premier League Matchweek 3.

Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham seems to be Chelsea manager Frank Lampard’s No. 1 striker for the current season. The 21-year-old striker had a fantastic game against Norwich City this past weekend, opening the scoring for the Blues, and then scoring the decisive goal that helped Lampard’s men take all three points and their first win of the season.

Abraham, who was subjected to racial abuse on social media following his penalty miss in the UEFA Super Cup final against Liverpool, scored his first two goals for Chelsea against Norwich – the first one being a low volley in the 3rd minute, and the second one a low shot that befuddled Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul in the 68th minute.

Sebastien Haller

Watford’s miserable start to the Premier League season continued this past weekend when they faced off against West Ham United, as the Hornets lost 3-1, thanks to a brace from West Ham’s club-record signing Sebastien Haller.

Haller played a part in the early penalty that Lanzini won, driving into the box with the ball before passing it to the Argentine attacking midfielder. Haller’s first goal for West Ham was an easy tap in the 64th minute, which gave West Ham the lead; the second was an acrobatic overhead kick from a corner, which secured all three points for the Hammers.

Mohamed Salah

Liverpool and Arsenal entertained fans with an exciting game, as two clubs with a 100% record in the Premier League for the 2019-20 season went head-to-head. Arsenal were wasteful with a couple of good chances that they got but Liverpool were relentless and ultimately broke through the Arsenal wall with Salah playing a key role.

Mohamed Salah ensured that the game went in his side’s favour in the second half, tormenting Arsenal central defender David Luiz. Luiz first fouled Salah to give away a penalty, which Salah dispatched with ease, and then made a fantastic run from the right-hand side, going past Luiz once again, to score his second goal and give Liverpool the win and the top spot in the Premier League table.
