Wolves continued their excellent form with a sensational 3-1 win against Everton on Saturday, and much of it can be attributed to an inspirational performance from club captain Conor Coady.
The 25-year-old centre-back marshalled the Wolves backline and led his team by an example, barking out orders from the back.
Coady’s excellent positioning restricted Everton from finding space in the final third.
The former Liverpool man’s distribution was impressive, as he threaded a series of accurate long-balls, including the one which set Diogo Jota clean through in behind the Everton backline.
Coady attained an impressive pass success rate of 83% – more than any other player in the team, thus making him the most effective defender for Wolves in their away win.
