Leicester City are set to take on Crystal Palace in Matchweek 27 in the Premier League this weekend. It is a crucial fixture for both the sides as they look to stabilise their position in the league table.
Team News
The Foxes will look to bounce back from their defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in their last match in the league when they take on the Eagles in their own backyard.
Claude Puel has a few injury concerns to deal with ahead of the crucial matchup with Daniel Amartey and Marc Albrighton set to miss out. Nampalys Mendy has returned to the side and might be a part of the starting lineup once again.
Puel confirmed in the press conference yesterday that Ben Chilwell and James Maddison are not fully fit to take on the Eagles and are set to be assessed before the match and even though the injuries are not understood to be serious, Puel will not like to take any risks with such vital members of the squad.

Goalkeeper
Kasper Schmeichel will start in the goal for Claude Puel’s side. He will look to put behind the disappointment from the loss against Tottenham Hotspur and will be keen to keep a clean sheet.
Defence
The four-man defensive wall is expected to have Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans at the heart of the backline. Their poor run of form will be a cause for concern but the amount of talent and experience the duo possess, they should be making life really difficult for the Palace attackers.
While Ricardo Pereira should start as the right back, veteran Christian Fuchs is expected to put in a shift on the left-hand side if Chilwell is not risked for the game.
Midfield
Nampalys Mendy is expected to start in the central midfield alongside Youri Tielemans. Both midfielders will have to be at their best to counter the physical approach likely to be adopted by the likes of Luka Milivojevic and Cheikhou Kouyate. Wilfred Ndidi is expected to be in the holding midfield role and will be tasked with protecting the backline.
If the situation demands, Puel might well utilise one of Ndidi and Mendy and go for Maddison later in the match.
Attack
Jamie Vardy came off the bench in the match against Spurs and scored a goal. He is expected to start the proceedings and lead the line for the Foxes tomorrow. In the absence of Albrighton, Demarai Gray should start on the left-flank while Rachid Ghezzal is expected to put in a shift from the left.
