Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young are two athletic players who have served United quite well in the right-back position. But, the Red Devils may need to find an upgrade in the upcoming summer if they are to compete with the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, in that regard, is an excellent option for United. The Crystal Palace defender has been one of the rising stars in the Premier League this season, thanks to a series of consistent performances.
Much like Young and Valencia, Bissaka is an athletic defender, who is known for his defensive mentality and will thus be able to provide more solidity on the flanks.
Wan-Bissaka also has a good burst of pace and can stretch defences on the break as he has the ability to maraud forward when necessary.
Manchester United are in dire need of attacking reinforcements following the struggles of Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku under Solskjaer.
While Rashford has somewhat managed to score on a consistent basis in the number nine role, it’s the wide department that needs to revamped and Jadon Sancho, for one, could be an ideal target.
The English wunderkind has been one of the most emerging young players in Europe this season, having been involved in as many as 19 goals in just 27 matches all competitions.
Sancho’s pace and trickery on the flanks could be useful when probing the opposition and Dortmund star can, overall, inject more dynamism into the Manchester United, making him an appealing target for the Red Devils.
