Wolves will make a trip to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday and take on Bournemouth in their next Premier League fixture.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are on an impressive run at the moment, and last lost a game in mid-January when they were beaten by league leaders Manchester City.
Bournemouth are just four points Wolves, but the latter will fancy their chances come Saturday.
Wolves picked up a narrow 1-0 win against Bristol City in the FA Cup in their last outing.
Wolves Team News
Matt Doherty limped off the pitch in the 81st minute last weekend, but the injury he picked up isn’t a serious one and he is expected to return against the Cherries.
Diogo Jota is a doubt for the game, and he will be assessed before the fixture. If he fails to make it in time, we could see Ivan Cavaleiro get a start.
Predicted Wolves Lineup
Defence
Rui Patricio should be returning to the starting lineup after getting a breather in the FA Cup when Wolves took on Bristol City.
The trio of Willy Boly, Conor Coady and Ryan Bennett have forged a good partnership at the back, and have played a key role in the side’s disciplined performances this season. The trio should keep their place at the back.
Doherty is expected to operate as the right wing-back as usual. He has been in a fantastic form this season. The 27-year-old has managed three goals and four assists in 26 league appearances so far this season, and has been an integral player in his side’s attacking endeavours.
Jonny Castro is likely to get the nod to start on the left.
Midfield
Leander Dendoncker, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho are expected to start in central midfield, and the trio will hope to control the game.
Neves has been one of the most underrated midfielders in the league this season. The Portuguese has mustered three goals and two assists. His defensive numbers are in particular impressive as he averages 2.3 tackles per game.
Attack
Ivan Cavaleiro and Raul Jimenez could start together up front for Wolves. Jimenez has already scored nine league goals and will aim to take his tally to the double figures.
