Leeds United linked with a transfer for wing-wizard: A brilliant move by Bielsa

Leeds United have been linked with a move for Swansea City winger Daniel James, but are yet to make contact with the Welsh side for his services.

Swansea manager Graham Potter revealed in his press conference ahead of the team’s clash with Birmingham that it’s normal to have transfer talk, and said no bid has been made yet.

“Everything is in theory possible. I haven’t heard anything.

“Nobody’s said anything has come in, it’s just talk. I’m sure we’ll carry on talking until the deadline so we’ll see,” Potter was quoted as saying by Leeds Live.

Earlier, the Sun had reported that James was on Leeds’ radar and the side were set to make a £6 million-plus bid for the 21-year old.

James would be a good addition to Leeds United

After being promoted to the Swansea senior team in the summer of 2018, James has done reasonably well for someone in his first full season.

Swansea haven’t been as consistent as they would have liked to have been, but James has had a good breakthrough season even though his goals and assists tally might not suggest the same.

James has managed just one goal and four assists in the league so far, but his influence on the team is perhaps why he has been linked with Leeds.

The Welshman is a versatile player and can play on either wing, though playing on the left as an inverted winger seems to be his strength.

James has good pace to burn and can take on a player and beat him for pace. His dribbling is pretty impressive as well, and he is hard to dispossess which is why he has been fouled 2.2 times per game so far this season.

Marcelo Bielsa’s wingers are often required to press and their neat interplay is something that breaks teams down. James does have the technical prowess to be involved in the Leeds’ build-play.

One area where James does fall behind is his defensive contribution, but considering Bielsa’s side essentially defend from the front and don’t use the low-block too much, James’ weakness might not be exposed as much as it has been at Swansea.

I have been surfing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like viagra. Its pretty worth enough for me.
