After their win against Newcastle United in the fourth round of the FA Cup, Watford take on Tottenham Hotspur tonight at the Wembley.

The Hornets have won three of their last four matches in all competitions, and will be confident of testing Spurs who have quite a few injury worries.

Watford team news

Defenders Sebastian Prodl and Kiko Femenia have both been ruled out due to injuries, while Abdoulaye Doucoure is not expected to feature either.

Javi Gracia has confirmed that the midfielder will be available soon, though.

Predicted Watford lineup vs Tottenham Hotspur

Defence

Adrian Mariappa and Christian Kabasele might return to play at the heart of the defence, with the defensive duo of Craig Cathcart and Miguel Britos set to make way despite an impressive display against Newcastle on Saturday.

Mariappa has emerged as a reliable option at centre-back in recent matches while Kabasele will also play a key role, having made the second most number of clearances and interceptions in the team.

Daryl Janmaat will continue to deputise for the injured Femenia in the right-back role, while Adam Masina might make way for Jose Holebas on the opposite flank. The Greek international has provided more key passes than anyone else in the team.

And in goal, Ben Foster will replace Heurelho Gomes, and will look for his sixth clean sheet of the campaign.

Midfield

The absence of Doucoure is a big blow for Watford, and the midfield duo of Etienne Capoue and Tom Cleverley need to step up at Wembley.

Capoue leads the team in terms of tackles and interceptions, and the former Tottenham star will look to provide security to the backline.

Will Hughes and Roberto Pereyra will also return to the side and operate in attacking midfield. The duo will be tasked with the responsibility to provide the creative spark going forward.

Attack

Andre Gray is likely to be dropped to the bench, paving the way for Troy Deeney in the starting eleven. Deeney has scored five goals this season and will spearhead the Watford attack alongside Gerard Deulofeu, whose pace and trickery might prove to be useful as the Hornets will look to play on the counter.
