Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be without forwards Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez for their upcoming clash against Cardiff City in the Premier League.
The Red Devils were beaten by Liverpool in their last outing and have won just one out their last six games, a run of form that no doubt played a hand in Jose Mourinho’s sacking earlier this week.
Solskjaer might go with Marcus Rashford up top with Lukaku unavailable.
Rashford played on the left against Liverpool and didn’t have enough service from the wide players, but when he got on the ball, he seemed positive and wanted to make things happen.
Lukaku’s absence will be a blow as Cardiff have pretty tough defenders and the Belgian’s presence in the box could have helped the United full-backs.
Manchester United are currently 11 points behind Chelsea who occupy the fourth spot in the table and will hope to close the gap come Saturday.
