Despite sitting second in the Premier League table, Liverpool, to some extent, have lacked the spark that was present last season.

#2 Marcel Sabitzer
Marcel Sabitzer is arguably having the best season in his career so far. Although he has been involved in just four league goals this campaign, his overall influence has been far greater.
Generally distinguished as a dynamic winger, the Austrian has operated in a more central role this season, partly due to Emil Forsberg’s constant fitness issues. And the results haven’t been disappointing either, with the 24-year old averaging 1.3 key passes and 1.5 attempts per game.
He is someone who can add flair to Liverpool’s creative department whilst also providing Klopp with the much-needed depth.
#1 Kai Havertz
By far the most logical choice from this list, Kai Havertz has lit up the Bundesliga this season with his sizzling performances.
Indeed, the 19-year-old midfielder has been involved in two goals and three assists in 11 matches, playing a crucial role in Leverkusen’s topsy-turvy campaign so far.
Havertz is advertised as a smart midfielder, whose positional sense is well beyond his years while he is also blessed with immense potential.
Not only can the 19-year-old create chances for his team in the final third but he is also very good at his defensive duties, making him an ideal fit for Klopp’s system.
Additionally, Havertz is quite experienced as well, having set the record for being the youngest player to have made 50 appearances in the Bundesliga while also being Leverkusen’s youngest goal-scorer and debutant. A star talent indeed!
