Liverpool Eyeing Sensational Move For Argentine Superstar: A Realistic Choice For Klopp?

Liverpool Eyeing Sensational Move For Argentine Superstar: A Realistic Choice For Klopp? 1

Shocking reports from Italian news outlet Tuttomercato state that Paulo Dybala is on Liverpool’s radar as the Reds look to take the next big step under Jurgen Klopp. The Argentine superstar has been linked with a move out of Juventus following speculations regarding Cristiano Ronaldo’s potential move to Italy this summer.

If reports are to be believed, the Real Madrid superstar is on the verge of completing his €100m move to Juventus within the coming days. Even though Juventus are not willing to let go of Dybala this summer, the Italian giants could be swayed if the Argentine asks for a move after Ronaldo’s arrival at the club.

Additionally, Ronaldo’s addition will make a huge impact from a financial perspective, meaning a departure of a key player could be imperative if they are to maintain their wage structure next season.

Dybala’s current situation at Juventus has alerted Liverpool, as per Tuttomercato. The Reds are actively in search of an attacking midfielder this summer following the departure of Philippe Coutinho earlier this year.

The Brazilian international was a key component in the final third but his absence has left Liverpool searching for a proper replacement in the market. And the failure to challenge for the title in such a positive season and the failure to challenge Real Madrid in the UCL final proves there is room for improvement and the need of someone better in form of personnel. Thus, Dybala is a viable target for the Merseyside as they aim to pose a strong threat for the title next season.

Highly regarded as one of the most promising footballers on the planet, Paulo Dybala will be nothing less than a dream signing for Liverpool. After initially making an impression with Palermo, the Argentine international earned himself a big money move to Juventus in the summer of 2015. Since his move to Turin, the 24-year-old has been excellent, netting 68 goals in just 140 matches in all competition.

In fact, Dybala enjoyed the best season of his career last term, as he scored 22 goals in 33 games, ultimately helping his team lift the Serie A title. However, he did endure a disappointing World Cup as Argentina were knocked out in the last 16 at the hands of France. Dybala featured for only 22 minutes across four games, largely due to a non-healthy relationship with head coach Jorge Sampaoli.

But that being said, Dybala has been a top performer in the Italian top flight football for the past few years and considering his huge talent, there’s no reason as to why he won’t be able to replicate his performances in the Premier League.
