Jose To Ring In The Changes? 4-3-3 Manchester United Predicted Lineup To Face Watford

A 0-0 draw against West Ham United in the penultimate game of the league campaign has made sure that Manchester United finish second in the points table, their best finish for a long time. But the Portuguese tactician will want his side to end the season on a high and will settle for nothing less than three points when they welcome Watford to Old Trafford tomorrow.

The Hornets arrested a seven-game winless streak last weekend when they beat Newcastle United but they have very little to play for, having secured top-flight status long ago. United face Chelsea in the FA Cup final a week later and will want to avoid any injuries in this game but will fight for a victory. Here is the predicted lineup Mourinho might field for this tie:

Team News:

In early team news, Marouane Fellaini is the only player ruled out for this game against Watford. Star striker Romelu Lukaku is back in training but might only make the bench this weekend.

Expected lineup (4-3-3):

Defence:

Mourinho revealed that Sergio Romero will get his chance under the bar for the final game of the season. He will hope to have an easy game, replacing a Golden Boot winner in David de Gea. The manager also revealed Eric Bailly will start alongside Phil Jones before the game and the duo will have a tough time against a well drilled Watford attack.

Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind have not featured for United regularly but with the FA Cup looming large next weekend, Mourinho does not want to take any risks with his first team stars and is expected to start the Italian at right-back and the Dutch international at left-back for this game.

Midfield:

Michael Carrick was also promised a start in the final game for United and he will start in a deep midfield role, alongside Nemanja Matic, who was rested for the mid-week game against West Ham.

Paul Pogba will get one final chance this season in the league to come up with a flawless display and he will be eager to take the opportunity.

Attack:

Anthony Martial was an unused substitute in that game against The Hammers. He is expected to start this weekend on the left wing in the attack with Juan Mata starting on the right flank. Marcus Rashford, who only came off the bench in that game, is expected to lead the line for United this weekend.
