Inconsistency in their results has been the biggest problem for Bournemouth this season. Yet, they are in the 12th in the league, with just eight games of the league season to go, and will be relatively happy with their progress. They have a chance to move closer to the top half of the table when they welcome a struggling West Brom side to the Vitality this weekend.
The Baggies, stranded at rock bottom of the points table, have lost their last six league games and Alan Pardew is under severe pressure to get some results quickly. The Cherries lost to Tottenham Hotspur at home but will believe they can take all three points from this game. Tyrone Mings is the only player ruled out for this clash against West Brom. Marc Pugh picked up a niggle and is doubtful while Ryan Fraser will also undergo a late fitness test ahead of this game. Joshua King is yet to return to full fitness but is expected to play a role in the game this weekend.

Defence
Asmir Begovic had a forgettable afternoon against Spurs but is the first choice for Howe and should start under the bar this weekend for Bournemouth. Steve Cook and Nathan Ake have established a solid partnership at the back recently for the Cherries and are expected to continue against the Baggies.
Charlie Daniels did not last the whole game in the last round but should be back at left-back for this weekend while Simon Francis remains the first choice for his side at right-back in this tie.
Midfield
Dan Gosling also had a torrid time against Tottenham Hotspur but has been effective in most games for Bournemouth and should start at the heart of the midfield. Lewis Cook has also done a decent in the midfield and should partner Gosling for this tie.
Junior Stanislas gave his side an early lead in the 4-1 loss against Spurs and is expected to add a similar threat in the final third this week as well. He will start on the left flank while Adam Smith, should keep his place on the right side of the midfield.
Attack
Callum Wilson remains an integral part of the squad for Bournemouth and could start in the no.10 role while Jermain Defoe could be given a chance to lead the attack and steal the points for the Cherries.
