After three long years, English outfit Liverpool are back in the Champions League and the man who made it happen, Jurgen Klopp, is determined to make sure that they have all the tools to make their European campaign a success next season. The likes of Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson will have huge roles to play in the upcoming campaign but Klopp is also looking for further additions before the start of the next season.
While Salah makes Liverpool’s attack all the more exciting, Klopp wants to make sure that he is well stacked in attack, to avoid troubles like in the previous season. So it does not come as a surprise that he is looking to add a player from his former club in Dortmund.
Liverpool Want Emre Mor On Loan
According to reports from several news outfits in Germany, Liverpool along with Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and Celta Vigo, are interested in the services of Turkish starlet Emre Mor, on loan this summer.
The Copenhagen born winger is fast establishing himself as one of the brightest prospects in world football but his move to the Signal Iduna Park has not yielded enough for him in his first season away from Turkey. Mor made just 12 Bundesliga appearances picking up three goals and an assist all season, and it is understood that the German outfit are ready to off load him, even on loan, before the start of the next season.
Who is Emre Mor?
Known for his versatility in the attacking third, Mor is a midfielder, who has now played in more than five different positions in midfield and in attack, in his time in the domestic leagues. An excellent dribbler with insane accuracy while crossing, Mor is a creative player who loves to have the ball at his feet.
Though not strong in the air or generally, the 20-year old loves to take on his man and invite players to foul him as his technique makes him a real hard player to mark in dangerous areas. He can thread accurate through balls when playing as a midfielder while his composure, for such a tender age, allows him to be a threat in front of goal, playing as a winger.
He is at times a bit too experimental and loses the ball but at just 20, he will turn into a beast in years to come and it is actually shocking that Dortmund are ready to let him leave, after not even testing him properly in his debut season in the Bundesliga.
Chances at Liverpool?
The likes of Southampton and Celta Vigo might be able to hand him more regular game time than Klopp at Anfield but the manager himself might be enough of a lure for Mor to end up at Anfield this summer.
Known for his man management, it is quite clear how Klopp can attract even the best players to Liverpool this summer and Mor, at his age, will want to play for a gaffer like Klopp and will not want to miss out on this opportunity.
Mor’s versatility will mean that he can be used in a number of roles and frankly, Klopp loves such dynamic players and will definitely be contemplating a move for the Turkish star. Mor will only get chances in domestic competitions and if he does well, Liverpool will surely keep him for the long term. If he fails, all the Reds have to do is terminate his loan deal. So for once, this could be a deal from which Liverpool will not lose too much from.
