Key Change In Attack: 4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Huddersfield Town

After yet another humiliating defeat on the road, this time at King Power, Arsenal remain the only team in the Premier League to have not won a point away from home in 2018. They will look to erase that record this weekend, on their way to giving Arsene Wenger a perfect send-off, when they travel to Kirklees Stadium on Sunday, in the final game of the season.

The Terriers stole a point each from trips to Etihad and Stamford Bridge in the last two rounds, confirming their top-flight status in the process. They do not have much to play for but will look to end the season on a strong note, giving Arsenal a run for their money. But in what will be Wenger’s last game in charge of Arsenal, The Gunners will want to put on a show for their manager. Here is the predicted lineup Wenger might field for this tie:

Team News:

In early team news, Santi Cazorla, Laurent Koscielny and Mesut Ozil are all ruled out for this game against Town. Young Konstantinos Mavropanosa was sent off in the game against Leicester City and remains suspended for this game. Mohamed Elneny is the only other player absent from the squad, as he continues his rehab from an ankle injury.

Expected lineup (4-3-3):

Defence:

Petr Cech will start under the bar for the visitors. Rob Holding had a tough time against Vardy but has been in decent form and will keep his place in the side for this weekend.

With Konstantinos Mavropanosa out suspended, Shkodran Mustafi might get his chance to impress in the last game of the league campaign. Sead Kolasinac has shown some form late this season and might keep his place at left-back while Hector Bellerin is expected to replace young Maitland-Niles at right-back.

Midfield:

Granit Xhaka is Wenger’s best option in the no.6 role and will keep his place in the side against Town. Jack Wilshere missed that game against The Foxes but should back in the midfield this weekend while Alex Iwobi, who did not last the whole game at King Power could be replaced by Aaron Ramsey in the midfield.

Attack:

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has been in good goalscoring form in the last few games and should keep his place in the starting XI. Alexandre Lacazette was rested for the mid-week game and could be back to lead the line, pushing Aubameyang to the left wing.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has also found some rhythm lately and will start on the right flank in attack.

Here is how they might line up:
