4-3-3 with Oxlade-Chamberlain in midfield: Predicted Liverpool lineup vs Huddersfield

After two defeats in as many games, Liverpool will take on Huddersfield Town tomorrow in what could be a crucial game for the Reds. Jürgen Klopp’s side need to learn from last season’s mistakes and stop the rut as soon as possible else run the risk of dropping down the table.

While Tottenham tend to come alive at this time of the season, Arsenal are in a positive situation despite losing Alexis Sanchez. With the two sides right behind Liverpool, Liverpool need to bounce back.

The Reds have a few injury concerns, though. Having seen little to no progress in regards to the club trying to sign new players, the fans are pessimistic about new signings. It seems the side will have to make do with the current crop of players for the remainder of the season.

Here’s how they could line up against Huddersfield…

Defence

Liverpool’s defensive problems just don’t go away, do they? Club record signing Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip are expected to continue at the back despite their subpar display against West Brom. Alberto Moreno was given a runout after his injury layoff but could make way for Andrew Robertson on the left.

Trent-Alexander Arnold could return to the bench for Joe Gomez on the right. Liverpool are still looking for a good keeper as neither Loris Karius nor Simon Mignolet have convinced with their performances. Karius is expected to return to the starting XI.
